Chapter 10 - We rode about 18,263 miles in just over 263 days. If verified by Guinness, this will be the fastest ever ride around the world on a tandem. It will establish the women’s record, which will be faster than the men’s current record by over 2 weeks.

We carried on heading north through the beautiful forests of France. We cycled mainly off road on the numerous cycle tracks in this area, but occasionally on the small country roads passing through villages.

We had breakfast with the lovely Sue Lincoln (wearing cycling gear - no spotted leggings in sight) and headed off into the hills.

We had a fabulous breakfast - Spanish style - and set off on a big climb day across the Sierra Nevada mountains to the beautiful city of Ronda.

We got off the bus too early and trudged down the road until we finally arrived at the bike shop and got some boxes.
